Explore Ira — Fury, reimagined from Jacques Callot’s iconic 1620s Baroque etching series Les Péchées Capitaux.
Callot’s original engraving depicts a warrior in full rage — armed with sword and shield, trampling a fallen figure underfoot. The most physically intense of all seven etchings, capturing the moment wrath takes complete control. 400 years later, we’ve adapted this masterwork onto premium organic cotton, preserving every detail of the original.
The front features Callot’s original etching with “Ira” inscribed in period-authentic script. The back carries the “Seven Deadly Sins” typographic treatment with “Fury” in hand-drawn blackletter.
Crafted from GOTS-certified organic cotton. No harmful chemicals or toxic dyes. Heavyweight fabric, individually garment-dyed for a unique patina on every piece. Made in California.
