In the spirit of making a positive impact on the world, we at Arttitude are proud to introduce our Social Good Program. With each sale you make, 3% will be channeled towards donations that support non-profit organizations, devoted to promoting art as a transformative and therapeutic force.
#AWARENESS: The American Art Therapy Association stands as a beacon of hope and compassion, driven by the belief that art possesses the power to heal and enrich lives. Through their dedicated efforts, they seek to advance knowledge and understanding of art therapy's profound impact, touching hearts and souls with every brushstroke.
#ACTIONABLE: The Art of Autism, nurtured by the visionary Debra Muzikar, embarks on a remarkable journey of shifting perceptions and kindling new possibilities in the world of arts for individuals on the autism spectrum. By fostering a network of collaboration and support for these gifted creatives, The Art of Autism empowers them to unleash their boundless potential.
#MATERIAL: At the heart of our Social Good Program lies a dedication to environmental sustainability. We proudly support The East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse, whose noble mission revolves around the reduction of waste and environmental stewardship. Through the collection and redistribution of discarded materials as low-or-no-cost supplies for art, education, and social services, they breathe new life into the discarded.
With each purchase you make, you are not merely acquiring a piece of art; you are contributing to a profound movement that endeavors to change lives, revitalize communities, and preserve the natural beauty of our planet. Together, we forge a path of healing, empowerment, and environmental consciousness, embracing the transformative power of art as an instrument for positive change.
Our blends are exclusivey made of Supima cotton which is only grown in the United States, and is considered to be one of the softest and strongest forms of cotton. Supima is inherently softer and more luxurious due to its extra-long staple fiber extra-long staple (ELS) cotton. The length of the fiber (at least 34 millimeters) produces smoother, cleaner yarns that result in a softer fabric that resists pilling. This means that your products will feel sumptuously soft and only get softer as time passes. Its finer fibers absorb dye with a deep, long-lasting penetration. The result is a product that retains color better than regular cottons. Supima products keep their brilliance wash after wash, giving you many years of use. While Supima and Pima cotton fabrics are different products, both types of cotton are derived from fibers of the Gossypium barbadense tree, and fabrics made from this type of cotton are commonly used in high-end consumer textiles. Other upscale textiles can only be washed in cold water, but Supima and Pima cotton can be washed in warm water, and they can even be tumble dried. One of the qualities of Supima cotton that customers love the best is this fabric's resistance to pilling (pills are balls of tangled cotton fibers that appear on most cotton products as they age, and they start to appear on most cotton products after about ten washes).
Pima cotton is a type of cotton considered to be one of the superior cotton with an extra-long staple length, extremely durable and absorbent. On the other hand, Supima cotton is the brand name of the Pima cotton. Supima is a trade name used by a group of Pima cotton growers who adhere to certain standards of quality and labeling. Luxury Brands using Supima include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, and Brioni. And now, a(r)ttitude.
