Jean (Hans) Arp, the renowned artist of the Dada and Surrealist movements, gifted the world with two exceptional and thought-provoking works of art.
Executed while Arp was visiting Schwitters in Hannover, this print portfolio was published as the fifth issue of Merz magazine. The title "Arpaden" is a made-up word meaning “Arp things.” . In these seven lithographs, he created a series of simple yet graphically powerful "object pictures" creating a visual symphony that harmonizes diverse textures, colors, and forms.
