Dalí represents excess, imagination, irrationality, obsession, and the refusal to make himself legible by conventional standards. This piece is built around that spirit — the idea that parts of ourselves are often pushed aside not because they are false, but because they are strange, dramatic, obsessive, or difficult to explain.
