Callot’s original engraving shows a languid figure slumped beside a donkey — the age-old symbol of stubborn inaction. Where other sins burn with appetite or ambition, Pigritia is the quiet refusal to act at all. Callot renders sloth not as rest, but as decay. 400 years later, we’ve adapted this masterwork onto premium organic cotton, preserving every detail of the original.

The front features Callot’s original etching with “Pigritia” inscribed in period-authentic script. The back carries the “Seven Deadly Sins” typographic treatment with “Laziness” in hand-drawn blackletter.

Crafted from GOTS-certified organic cotton. No harmful chemicals or toxic dyes. Heavyweight fabric, individually garment-dyed for a unique patina on every piece. Reverse flatlock stitching reduces bulk and strengthens seams, while raglan sleeves and a relaxed fit allow natural movement. Flatlock-stitched armholes add durability.
